Terms of Service

Last updated: 2026-08-26

These Terms govern access to and use of Utilix (the "Service"), and the rights and duties between the operator and users. By visiting the site or using any tool, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.

1. Scope

These Terms apply to all pages, tools, and related content provided by the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date on this page and provide notice in the Service. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Privacy matters are covered by our separate Privacy Policy.

2. The Service

Utilix provides browser-based web utilities (formatting, conversion, calculation, generation, and similar helpers). You can use them without creating an account.

Most tools process inputs on your device in the browser. Hosting, CDN, advertising, or analytics infrastructure may still create technical logs during normal access.

We may improve, add, change, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service. We will try to give notice when practical, but urgent security or operational needs may require notice afterward.

The Service may be free and may display ads or change feature availability. If paid offerings are introduced later, separate terms will apply.

3. Eligibility and accounts

The Service is generally available to everyone, subject to applicable law.

No signup or login is required today. If accounts are added later, additional rules about account security and responsibility may apply.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow applicable law and these Terms. You must not:

Submit or process content that infringes others’ rights (copyright, privacy, publicity, and similar rights)

Distribute malware, attempt unauthorized access, or place unreasonable automated load (scraping, flooding, or similar abuse) on the Service

Use tools for fraud, phishing, or other criminal activity

Bypass or disable advertising, security, or technical protections

Impersonate others or send spammy or abusive feature requests

You are responsible for checking whether tool outputs are accurate and suitable for your purpose. For medical, legal, financial, or security-critical decisions, verify with a qualified professional.

5. Your inputs and outputs

Rights in the text, files, and settings you enter generally remain yours. The Service is designed so those inputs are not collected or stored by us beyond what is needed to operate the site (browser-local processing for tools).

You must have the rights needed for any content you submit, and you must not infringe third-party rights.

You are responsible for how you use outputs (converted files, generated snippets, previews, and similar). Before shipping or publishing results, check relevant laws and licenses yourself.

6. Intellectual property

Trademarks, logos, UI design, documentation, software, and the overall composition of the Service belong to the operator or rightful owners.

You may not copy, redistribute, reverse engineer, or relicense the Service, or turn it into a competing commercial redistribution, without prior permission.

Open-source components remain subject to their own licenses.

7. Advertising and third parties

The Service may show third-party ads such as Google AdSense. Ad content, landing pages, and transactions are the responsibility of the advertiser or ad network.

Links or integrations with external sites, APIs, or content are governed by those providers’ terms and privacy policies.

Ad and analytics partners may use cookies or similar technologies. See the Privacy Policy for details.

8. Availability

The Service may be interrupted for maintenance, infrastructure failure, network issues, force majeure, legal changes, or security response.

We work to keep the Service available, but to the extent allowed by law we are not liable for downtime or temporary unavailability.

9. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available".

We do not warrant that outputs are accurate, uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose.

Browser differences, extensions, device performance, and network conditions may affect results or cause failures.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of (or inability to use) the Service, including data loss, business interruption, or lost profits.

Except for willful misconduct or gross negligence where such limitation is not allowed, our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service in connection with that claim (which is zero for free use).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, applicable law controls.

11. Enforcement

If you violate these Terms or applicable law, or interfere with operations, we may restrict access, decline further support requests, and cooperate with authorities where required.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms and disputes related to the Service are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

We will first try to resolve disputes through good-faith discussion. If that fails, disputes may be brought before a court of competent jurisdiction under applicable procedure law.
